Welcome Jason Kolokithas – New Defensive Coordinator & Defensive Backs Coach

We are excited to officially announce that Jason Kolokithas will be joining the Michigan Raptors as our new Defensive Coordinator, as well as our Defensive Backs Coach!

With over 20 years of football experience, both as a player and a coach, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. He most recently served as the DC for the Dublin Rebels and he was acting DB coach and player for the 2023 Shamrock Bowl National Championship-winning with the Dublin Rebels Premier Division senior team. Now, Jason is bringing that championship pedigree to our program and is eager to help guide the next generation of athletes.

In addition to his coaching role, Jason has a strong playing background, including experience with the Port Huron Patriots in arena football. This combination of coaching and playing experience allows Jason to offer invaluable insights and guidance to our athletes, especially our defensive backs, as he works to develop their skills and football IQ.

Jason’s coaching philosophy centers around creating a fun and engaging learning environment. As he often says, "When everyone is having fun, that’s when they play their best football." This positive approach will be essential in helping our players grow both individually and as a team.

We are thrilled to have Jason Kolokithas on board as both our Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach and can't wait to see the impact he'll have on our team!
